DSL FAQ

  1. What DSL speeds are available at my location?
    1. Please fill out our DSL Availability form to determine the distance and available services at your location.

  2. Can I use my existing voice phone line?
    1. Qwest DSL can usually be installed on an existing analog telephone line, if it is a Qwest line. If your phone company is not Qwest, you will have to install a Qwest phone line first. Contact us at dslinfo@tela.com to determine if we can pre-qualify a new line to avoid installing a line that will not qualify

  3. Can I use my existing IP addresses?
    1. IP addresses for Tela's DSL service are assigned separately from our other IP addresses. Existing IP addresses cannot be migrated to the DSL service. Tela will perform all DNS and MX updates as necessary to insure a smooth transition.
